I love wearing hats. 
When my hair was long, I loved wearing a baseball cap and putting my ponytail through the back. 
In the wintertime, I love wearing any kind of hat, because it helps keep you warm, because you lose a lot of heat from your head. 
I love bowler hats, they give a sophisticated look to anyone.
I love all the hats worn by women at horse races, even the tacky ones.
I love the hat Meg Ryan wears in When Harry Met Sally, where they're discussing her recurring dream.
I especially love knit caps in the wintertime. I don't care who you are, they make you look cute.
I love the bedtime caps worn in Dr Seuss books; makes those little darlings look especially cute when they are those long as the kid/thing is tall with a tassel on the end. 

I love "Betsy Ross" hats, even the ones on the Little House on the Prairie girls to keep their long hair from being pulled during sleep. 
I love Cowboy hats, even though some people don't, cuz they give you a funky attitude.
I like Gilligan's hat, it gives the right amount of lackadaisical look that reflects his personality.
I like hats on Pilgrims. 
I like Party Hats...especially those worn by dogs in the PD Eastman book "Go Dog Go"
I love the hats of Vegas Showgirls, now those are something, and very similar to the hats of girls in Rio during Festival.
And yeah, I like Monica Lewinsky's beret.

The hat gives the face/head more character as well as protecting one from the elements....Even a raincoat doesn't look right without a hat to match.
